Workwear, branding & delivery
Embroidered Workwear Gateshead & Team Valley
A uniform should make a team recognisable without making the buying process harder. Logos Workwear & Schoolwear has supplied workwear and schoolwear from Team Valley, Gateshead since 1999. We help local organisations choose garments, decide whether embroidery or print suits the artwork, and arrange collection or delivery across the North East.

Start with the job, then choose the garment
Think first about where each garment will be worn, how often it will be washed and what staff need to carry or do in it. A polo can work for customer-facing roles and everyday team identity; a fleece or softshell adds a layer for changing conditions; trousers and jackets can complete a practical uniform. Browse the workwear categories, then tell us which roles and sizes you are planning for. If you are replacing an existing uniform, a garment label or product link helps us check the match.
For teams that need visibility garments, decide whether the logo should sit on the chest, sleeve or another suitable area before approving artwork. Branding must not interfere with the garment's intended high-visibility use. We can discuss placement against the item selected, but the wearer and purchaser remain responsible for choosing clothing appropriate to their risk assessment and requirements.
Embroidery or print: a practical choice
Embroidery forms the design with stitched thread and is often considered for a compact company mark on polos, fleeces and jackets. It gives a textured finish, but fine detail and small lettering may need simplifying to reproduce clearly in stitches. Print can suit artwork with more colour detail, larger layouts or a smooth finish. Send the logo file and intended garment so the method can be considered in context rather than chosen from a thumbnail alone.
There is a minimum of six garments for embroidery or print, including garments supplied by the customer. A setup charge is free on orders over £250 ex VAT; otherwise it is £25 plus VAT. We confirm the quote and artwork proof before production. Please check the spelling, colour, size and placement on the proof carefully, because the usual 5–10 working day production estimate starts from proof approval and depends on garment stock and payment being received.
Ordering around Gateshead and Team Valley
Send us your garment choices, approximate quantities, size range, logo and deadline. We can clarify what is available and provide a quote before you commit. Plain stock orders are dispatched in 24–48 hours subject to stock and payment. Branded orders usually take 5–10 working days from proof approval, subject to garments being in stock and payment being received. If timing matters, state the date at the start so stock and production timing can be checked.
Collection is available only from our Team Valley base at 320C Mayoral Way, Team Valley, Gateshead, NE11 0RT. Orders can also be delivered across the North East. UK delivery is £5.95; Team Valley collection is free. Newcastle customers do not have a separate street address or collection point: the same Gateshead base serves the area by delivery.
A local supplier, clearly based
Logos Workwear & Schoolwear is a trading business established in 1999. Our address is in Team Valley, Gateshead; describing service to nearby areas does not mean we operate offices in those places. If you are comparing suppliers, useful questions include whether the garment is in stock, how a proof is approved, whether supplied garments are suitable for decoration and what triggers the quoted lead time. We are happy to work through those details before an order is placed.
Explore the focused pages for hi-vis embroidery, printed workwear and embroidered polo shirts, or browse Newcastle and wider North East service information. For a quote, include the garment, quantity, decoration method if known, logo and preferred collection or delivery. This gives us a useful starting point and helps keep a team order consistent.
